Carolina Contact will be hosting its seventh annual jam on March 10-12, 2006, in Carrboro, North Carolina. You are invited to join us for a weekend of Contact Jams, Contact Improvisation Classes, and Contact Community. This event welcomes those new to Contact Improvisation as well as those well seasoned.

Our Teacher

Brad Stoller

Brad Stoller is presently working on preparing to dance another twenty two years. He has had the priviledge of dancing in improv festivals and concerts ranging from rustic barns to marble floored museums. He is a certified Alexander Technique teacher and a black belt in Aikido. He recently gained his MFA in playwriting and added winning a national short play competition to his acclaim.

Directions

The potluck on Friday night will be held at Carole-Anne's place, 105 Fidelity Street (White Oak Condominiums), Unit B34 in Carrboro. The morning classes will be held at the Carrboro Century Center at 100 N. Greensboro St. The afternoon and evening activities will be held at the Balanced Movement Studio at 304 W. Weaver St. in Carrboro. Please see the websites for directions or use MapQuest.


Food

Juice and bagels will be provided Saturday and Sunday mornings and a vegetarian dinner will be held Saturday night at the Century Center.

You will be on your own for lunches both Saturday and Sunday. A variety of local restaurants and shops are practically outside the door of where we will be dancing. For people not familiar with Carrboro and Chapel Hill, a list of places will be provided at the jam.
